What Is a Guidance Center (Margdarshan Kendra)?

A Guidance Center — also called Margdarshan Kendra in Marathi — is an official government-authorised school or college that acts as a free, in-person help desk for the FYJC (Class 11) online admission process in Maharashtra.

The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has set up Guidance Centers across all regional divisions of the state. Trained officials at these centers have direct access to the official FYJC portal and can help students with problems that cannot be solved online.

All Guidance Centers operate on working days: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM. Morning hours (before 1:00 PM) have shorter queues. Never go on the last day before a deadline — centers become extremely crowded.
